iPhone 5 – Tomorrow will be the BIG day for Apple Inc.

The iPhone 5 is going to be release tomorrow. Apple is hosting a special event in San Francisco to unveil the newest version of its smartphone. Despite what’s been discussed, there will surely be thousands of posts written by people disappointed by the iPhone 5. Whatever Apple reveals on Wednesday, you can be sure that it won’t live up to the expectations set by the hopeful public.

It’s likely to sport a bigger 4-inch screen compared to the current 3.5 inch one. It’s should also be thinner than the iPhone 4S. It will have a new 19-pin connector port at the bottom instead of the proprietary 30-pin port “to make room for the earphone moving to the bottom.”

A Quad-core processor, the A-6, Near Field Communications (NFC) capabilities and 4G are some other rumored features.

According to the report, which had detailed pictures of Apple’s proposed invention, the application, entitled “Back Panel for a Portable Electronic Device with Different Camera Lens Options,” includes illustrations of an iPhone-like device with the camera located in the same top-left-corner location.

 

Is Apple finally going to ditch the prized ‘iPhone’ design aka the rectangle with rounded corners. Unlikely since they fought Samsung for stealing this patented design. But hey, isn’t Apple all about innovation as they claim? Will the next iPhone be radically different in terms of design? Let’s hope the iPhone5 is revolutionary and not just evolutionary.

The current iPhone 4S has an eight mega-pixel camera. So is Apple going to give the iPhone 5 a 12 mega-pixel camera? We could see the iPhone 5 come with a higher camera. But will the picture quality change radically?

Most smartphones come with pretty bad battery life. The current iPhone has an 8 hour talk-time on 3G and up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM). With Internet use, the battery lasts only 6 hours on 3G and up to 9 hours on Wi-Fi. We would love the new iPhone to have a battery life of say 12 hours on 4G?

The company, of course, is very tight-lipped about what it’s debuting and when. Eiffel Tower, Hundred and fifteen years back, France was preparing for the world exposition in Paris to be held in 1889 to celebrate 100th anniversary of French Revolution. Gustave Eiffel, the project incharge wanted to project his country as a leader in Industrial revolution; the only way was construction. Fifty engineers and designers produced 5,300 drawings, and over 100 workers built more than 18,000 different parts of the tower in a workshop. Another 132 workers assembed them on site.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The  four  pillars  of  the  Eiffel Tower  stand  in  a  square  that measures  125 meters  on  each  side. They  are  oriented  in  line with the 4 cardinal points.

The monument was inaugurated on March 31, 1889. On that day, Gustave Eiffel climbed the 1,710 steps of the Tower to  plant the French lag at its peak. The Eiffel Tower was the highest building in the world until 1929, when the Chrysler Building in New York topped it at 319 metres.
