Apple’s iPad Mini – Leaked Pictures

All set for Apple to reveal its magical product iPad in smaller version which is reported to be called as iPad mini. According to a report from Bloomberg, the iPad mini might have a screen between 7 – 8 inches. However, it would not have the all powerful retina display. Bloomberg also says that the product could be launched as early as October.

“For the 7.85-inch panel, there’s a business plan for it, there’s a mass production target for it. And we know that it’s for Apple,” says Richard Shim, an NPD DisplaySearch analyst. Mr. Shim added “I don’t know the name of the product, but I know it’s going to be a tablet”. Shim said ” Production is likely imminent. Everything is getting set up. We know the lines. We know how many panels are going to come out of the sheets of glass. These are supply chain indications. By the very nature of the supply chain, these plans can be altered”

Shaw Wu, an analyst at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc. says that “It would be the competitiors’ worst nightmare. The ball is in Apple’s court”.

Other reports have claimed that the iPad Mini will be priced at $299. Estimates for production runs are about 35 million units in 2013.

Latest iOS Apps 2012

The iOS platform is extremely robust and well polished and thus provides developers and designers the opportunity to really get creative and make truly impressive works of art. So what are phone apps? Now a days iOS app development of different fields like business, entertainment, social networking, shopping, navigation, browsing etc is effectively using in mobile industry. Due to the increasing number of iPhone users, organizations can reach the customers in easy and effective ways via iPhone mobile applications.

We have compiled some iOS apps with new features that the latest iOS version contains.

CoPilot GPS

The free offline route planning and local exploring app allows you to navigate where you need to go without having to rely on your mobile connection. It provides detailed street maps and millions of useful points of interest, as well as the ability to locate local restaurants, stores, gas stations and more using quality 2D maps. But it also allows for an in-app upgrade to get 3D maps and voice-guided navigations.

Facebook

Now it’s easier than ever to interact with the world’s largest social network. Facebook is one of the world’s most powerful communication tools which is capable of keeping family all over the world in contact. Those people with an iPhone know how great the Facebook application is on the iPhone.

————————————————————

 FaceTime

FaceTime now works over cellular networks as well as Wi-Fi, so you can make and receive FaceTime calls wherever you happen to be. You can even make and receive FaceTime calls on your iPhone using your phone number. That means you can use FaceTime wherever you are, on any device. iPhone 5 has a camera on the front — perfectly tuned for FaceTime chatting — and an iSight camera on the back. You can switch between cameras during a call. So whoever you’re chatting with can see you, or they can see what you see.

————————————————————

Sparrow

Regarded by many as one of the best iOS email clients available, Sparrow is designed to provide an easy to use and efficient email system. With full IMAP support, the app is compatible with a wide range of email accounts, displays conversations in threads, and lets you directly attach photos and images when sending messages. You can deal with several email addresses within one account, enabling you to access both personal and business email while still keeping them separate.

————————————————————

Maps

Beautifully designed from the ground up (and the sky down), Maps changes the way you see the world. Map elements are vector based, so graphics and text are incredibly detailed — even when you zoom all the way in — and panning is smooth. Tilt and rotate to view an area, and Maps keeps the names of streets and places where they belong. Get visual and spoken turn-by-turn navigation and real-time traffic updates.

————————————————————

Passbook

Apple just announced a new iOS app on-stage at WWDC called Passbook that aims to store all of your “passes” — a category that includes boarding passes, store cards, and movie tickets. This could be a boon for consumers, but bad news for Square and other startups. The idea is to create one app that replaces a lot of the clutter in your wallet. So you can open up Passbook whenever you need to board a flight, get into a movie, or get a discount at the store — it looks like the passes are mostly, but not exclusively, redeemed using QR codes.

————————————————————

Shared Photo Stream

Now you can share just the photos you want, with just the people you choose. Simply select photos from the Photos app, tap the Share button, choose who you want to share your photos with, and they’re on their way. Friends using iCloud on an iOS 6 device get the photos delivered immediately in the Photos app or iPhoto.

————————————————————

Safari

iOS 6 brings even better web browsing to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch through Safari. iCloud Tabs keeps track of which pages you have open on your devices, so you can start browsing on one device and pick up right where you left off, on whatever device is handy. Safari now saves web pages — not just links — in your Reading List, so you can catch up on your reading even when you can’t connect to the Internet.

————————————————————

Siri

Siri will soon be able do a lot more! She’ll speak more languages and provide the latest scores and stats for games, she’ll provides the latest movie reviews and showtimes and find the best restaurants in town and make reservations!

————————————————————

Vlingo

So iPhone 4S users already have Siri and she’s supposed to get better, but those who don’t have the latest version can get Vlingo for free, which is a voice activated virtual assistant for your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4. The free download probably won’t be as smart as the newest Siri, but something is better than nothing.

You can download these above apps from iTunes

Apple’s New iPhone 5 – Pictures, Features and Specifications

Finally Apple launched iPhone 5. It is taller, leaner, lighter, shinier and packs in much more punch than ever. Apple gave it a completely new avatar made of glass and aluminium. Here are pictures and features of iPhone 5….

The iPhone 5 is Apple’s first smartphone capable of 4G, the super-fast mobile broadband technology that is due to begin in Britain within weeks. Earlier this week, mobile network EE announced plans to launch a 4G service imminently and the iPhone 5 is likely to be one of the handsets available to new customers. The new Apple iPhone 5 is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the 4S but runs twice as fast, with graphics that are twice as fast, thanks to a new processor. Apple has also upgraded the camera in the iPhone to include new features such as a low-light mode and a panorama feature. Picture credit: GLENN CHAPMAN/AFP/GettyImages

The smaller ‘Lightning’ connector means the iPhone 5 won’t connect to any existing docks or accessories you may have. For those, Apple will sell you an adaptor at £25. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach

One change that will annoy many long-time customers is the removal of the dock connector that Apple has used in its devices since the 2003 iPod. The new connector is 80% smaller but will not work with existing accessories. Picture: David Paul Morris/Bloomberg

Apple also demonstrated iOS 6, its latest mobile operating system. Upgrades to the software include voice navigation for driving, a feature already available on many Android smartphones, as well as Passbook for storing electronic boarding passes, sports tickets and gift cards. The iPhone 5 ships on September 21 in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Britain. Apple predicts it will sell eight million iPhones in the fourth quarter of this year. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach

The iPod touch gets the same increased screen size as the iPhone 5 and, for the first time, comes in a range of colours. The colours make sense in that context and the new iPod touch does look very nice. It has a better camera too and a new processor, which means it can run more powerful apps. Games, in particular, should benefit enormously from the upgrade. Picture: EPA/APPLE

The iPod nano has been redesigned yet again. Now the nano is rectangular again, with a larger touchscreen and seven different colours. Bluetooth is built-in for the first time, as is full support for Nike+, which will be a bonus for those who like to track their fitness progress. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach

iPhone 5 – Tomorrow will be the BIG day for Apple Inc.

The iPhone 5 is going to be release tomorrow. Apple is hosting a special event in San Francisco to unveil the newest version of its smartphone. Despite what’s been discussed, there will surely be thousands of posts written by people disappointed by the iPhone 5. Whatever Apple reveals on Wednesday, you can be sure that it won’t live up to the expectations set by the hopeful public.

It’s likely to sport a bigger 4-inch screen compared to the current 3.5 inch one. It’s should also be thinner than the iPhone 4S. It will have a new 19-pin connector port at the bottom instead of the proprietary 30-pin port “to make room for the earphone moving to the bottom.”

A Quad-core processor, the A-6, Near Field Communications (NFC) capabilities and 4G are some other rumored features.

According to the report, which had detailed pictures of Apple’s proposed invention, the application, entitled “Back Panel for a Portable Electronic Device with Different Camera Lens Options,” includes illustrations of an iPhone-like device with the camera located in the same top-left-corner location.

Is Apple finally going to ditch the prized ‘iPhone’ design aka the rectangle with rounded corners. Unlikely since they fought Samsung for stealing this patented design. But hey, isn’t Apple all about innovation as they claim? Will the next iPhone be radically different in terms of design? Let’s hope the iPhone5 is revolutionary and not just evolutionary.

The current iPhone 4S has an eight mega-pixel camera. So is Apple going to give the iPhone 5 a 12 mega-pixel camera? We could see the iPhone 5 come with a higher camera. But will the picture quality change radically?

Most smartphones come with pretty bad battery life. The current iPhone has an 8 hour talk-time on 3G and up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM). With Internet use, the battery lasts only 6 hours on 3G and up to 9 hours on Wi-Fi. We would love the new iPhone to have a battery life of say 12 hours on 4G?

iPhone 5 Ready To Be Unveiled on 12 Sept

Apple is set this week to have one of its classic big announcements, widely expected to be the launch of the next iPhone 5. The company, of course, is very tight-lipped about what it’s debuting and when. But it left a fairly big clue about what it’s planning on its invitation for this Wednesday i.e 12 september, with the event date casting the shadow of a large “5” in the foreground.

Samsung GALAXY S III (s3) – Pictures

The Samsung Galaxy S III is a smartphone designed, developed, and marketed by Samsung Electronics. Like its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S II, the S III is a touchscreen-based, slate-format Android smartphone, with additional software features, expanded hardware, and a redesigned physique. It employs an intelligent personal assistant (S Voice), eye-tracking ability, increased storage and a wireless charging option.  Here are some Samsung galaxy s3 pictures….

Depending on countries, the 4.8-inch (120 mm) smartphone comes with different processors and RAM capacity, and 4G LTE support.

The S III comes with version 4.0.4, officially named “Ice Cream Sandwich”, which became commercially available in March 2012 with the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. Ice Cream Sandwich has a refined user interface, expanded camera capabilities, security features and connectivity.

The Galaxy S III has a polycarbonate plastic chassis measuring 136.6 mm (5.38 in) long, 70.7 mm (2.78 in) wide, and 8.6 mm (0.34 in) thick, with the device weighing 133 grams (4.7 oz). Samsung has abandoned the rectangular design that can be found on the Galaxy S and Galaxy S II, and instead has incorporated round corners and curved edges, reminiscent of the Galaxy Nexus. The phone is available in two color options: “Marble White” and “Pebble Blue”; however, “Pebble Blue” has reportedly been altered to a metallic blue-grey shade.
