Chris Gayle Pictures – Fastest Century in IPL

Yesterday a game between Banglore vs Pune in IPL 2013, Chris Gayle’s fastest hundred 175 that demolished Pune Warriors took only 66 deliveries, and included 17 sixes. He reached his hundred off 30 deliveries in the ninth over, before taking it slightly easy for the next few overs. Here are some Chris Gayle’s pictures…

“I didn’t want to just get the hundred and continue blasting and blasting and get out, you know how quickly this game can change” Gayle said after delivering a 130-run victory for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Aaron Finch, the Warriors captain, watched helplessly as his bowlers, and his own bowling, was ruthlessly taken apart by Gayle. There were no qualifiers in his praise for Gayle. “That was simply the best innings I’ve ever seen,” Finch said. He later joked: “Maybe we should ban him from the game. Maybe he’s too good, he hits it too far.”

Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers’ captain, was left “speechless”. “No words. I cannot ask for anything more as a captain,” Kohli said after the game. “I’m privileged that I watched it here today live. All the people who came to the stadium today also should feel honoured that they got to see one of the best innings ever.”

It wasn’t just with the bat that Gayle did damage. Asked to bowl the final over of the match – his first chance with the ball this IPL season – he picked up two wickets, before celebrating with his famous Gangnam Style dance. “It was really good to finish off in that particular way, ” he said. “Some people keep on asking, ‘they have seen me do Gangnam Style in international cricket, why not in IPL?’ I thought that was the perfect time to do it, you get a wicket, everything just worked for Chris Gayle today … I’m an entertainer, I try to entertain as much as possible.”

iPhone 5S Will Be Available In 2 or 3 Screen Sizes

According to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, Apple iPhone 5S would launch in two or three different screen sizes.

“We also walked away with the view that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in at least two screen sizes this summer and possibly three. We continue to target July as the launch date. Essentially, we believe Apple is coming around to the fact that one size per iPhone release does not work for everyone and offering consumers an option has the potential to expand the Company’s market share.” White said.

Japanese website Macotakara has released a report suggesting that the iPhone 5S will come in five different colors, including the original black and white. Report also adds that the iPhone 5S will be announced in July, with a release to follow in August.

Apple’s New iPhone 5 – Pictures, Features and Specifications

Finally Apple launched iPhone 5. It is taller, leaner, lighter, shinier and packs in much more punch than ever. Apple gave it a completely new avatar made of glass and aluminium. Here are pictures and features of iPhone 5….

The iPhone 5 is Apple’s first smartphone capable of 4G, the super-fast mobile broadband technology that is due to begin in Britain within weeks. Earlier this week, mobile network EE announced plans to launch a 4G service imminently and the iPhone 5 is likely to be one of the handsets available to new customers. The new Apple iPhone 5 is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the 4S but runs twice as fast, with graphics that are twice as fast, thanks to a new processor. Apple has also upgraded the camera in the iPhone to include new features such as a low-light mode and a panorama feature. Picture credit: GLENN CHAPMAN/AFP/GettyImages

The smaller ‘Lightning’ connector means the iPhone 5 won’t connect to any existing docks or accessories you may have. For those, Apple will sell you an adaptor at £25. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach

One change that will annoy many long-time customers is the removal of the dock connector that Apple has used in its devices since the 2003 iPod. The new connector is 80% smaller but will not work with existing accessories. Picture: David Paul Morris/Bloomberg

Apple also demonstrated iOS 6, its latest mobile operating system. Upgrades to the software include voice navigation for driving, a feature already available on many Android smartphones, as well as Passbook for storing electronic boarding passes, sports tickets and gift cards. The iPhone 5 ships on September 21 in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Britain. Apple predicts it will sell eight million iPhones in the fourth quarter of this year. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach

The iPod touch gets the same increased screen size as the iPhone 5 and, for the first time, comes in a range of colours. The colours make sense in that context and the new iPod touch does look very nice. It has a better camera too and a new processor, which means it can run more powerful apps. Games, in particular, should benefit enormously from the upgrade. Picture: EPA/APPLE

The iPod nano has been redesigned yet again. Now the nano is rectangular again, with a larger touchscreen and seven different colours. Bluetooth is built-in for the first time, as is full support for Nike+, which will be a bonus for those who like to track their fitness progress. Picture: REUTERS/Beck Diefenbach
