Muslim celebrate two Eids in a moon year. The 2nd one being Eid al Adha, (Eid ul Adha) also called the greater Eid, which is celebrated in accordance with the event of the great Prophet Abraham (Ibrahi – Peace be upon him) willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. His son was replaced by a sheep by the Will of God. Normally a Goat/Sheep or Cow or Camel is sacrificed. This is celebrated to the immediate next day of Holy day of Hajj.
