Chris Gayle Pictures – Fastest Century in IPL

Yesterday a game between Banglore vs Pune in IPL 2013, Chris Gayle’s fastest hundred 175 that demolished Pune Warriors took only 66 deliveries, and included 17 sixes. He reached his hundred off 30 deliveries in the ninth over, before taking it slightly easy for the next few overs. Here are some Chris Gayle’s pictures…

“I didn’t want to just get the hundred and continue blasting and blasting and get out, you know how quickly this game can change” Gayle said after delivering a 130-run victory for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Aaron Finch, the Warriors captain, watched helplessly as his bowlers, and his own bowling, was ruthlessly taken apart by Gayle. There were no qualifiers in his praise for Gayle. “That was simply the best innings I’ve ever seen,” Finch said. He later joked: “Maybe we should ban him from the game. Maybe he’s too good, he hits it too far.”

Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers’ captain, was left “speechless”. “No words. I cannot ask for anything more as a captain,” Kohli said after the game. “I’m privileged that I watched it here today live. All the people who came to the stadium today also should feel honoured that they got to see one of the best innings ever.”

It wasn’t just with the bat that Gayle did damage. Asked to bowl the final over of the match – his first chance with the ball this IPL season – he picked up two wickets, before celebrating with his famous Gangnam Style dance. “It was really good to finish off in that particular way, ” he said. “Some people keep on asking, ‘they have seen me do Gangnam Style in international cricket, why not in IPL?’ I thought that was the perfect time to do it, you get a wicket, everything just worked for Chris Gayle today … I’m an entertainer, I try to entertain as much as possible.”

iPad 5 Expected to Be 15% Thinner and 25% Lighter Than iPad 4

Apple released the iPad 4 as well as the iPad Mini in 2012 with great displays and processing power. The fourth generation iPad in fact has been proved to be twice as fast as the third generation version. Therefore, the next obvious question is about the kind of features the iPad 5 will bring and when it will be released for buyers.

After checking with his supply chain sources, Kuo reported in a research note, “We think the tablet will, at 7.5-8.0mm, be 15% thinner than iPad 4.”

He added, “The new device will likely be about 500 grams, or some 25% lighter than iPad 4.”

Kuo expects the iPad 5 to boast an A7X processor (even though Apple has yet to introduce the A7), as well as “cameras with similar specs to the iPad 4’s (front HD, rear 5MP),” he said.

As far as the enclosure is concerned, the color offerings will remain unchanged (silver and black), and Kuo expects a narrow bezel design similar to the iPad mini’s.

Ming-Chi Kuo also said:

“We therefore think that iPad 5’s battery capacity will be 25-30% smaller, at 8,500-9,000mAh, than iPad 4’s, and the battery’s thickness will be 15-20% smaller, at 7.5-8.0mm, and the number of cells will be reduced to two from three.”

Here are some possible concept features that might be included in the iPad 5:

  • There are rumors on various websites about the iPad 5 including CD and USB ports. Having a USB port might prove very useful in general to plug and play other external storage devices.

  • There are other reports of Apple trying to add a scanner to the iPad. Including a scanner will have huge benefits that will include instant conversion of text to soft copies that can be easily emailed to other people. The benefits of adding scanning capabilities to the iPad can be immense.

  • One of the most popular rumors on the iPad as well as the iPhone has been adding a projector. Adding a projector will take the iPad desirability sky high due to the kind of capabilities it will add to a simple portable device. It is not confirmed that Apple will definitely add a projector, but concept videos and concept blog articles always talk about how this can be a possibility.

iPhone 5S Will Be Available In 2 or 3 Screen Sizes

According to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, Apple iPhone 5S would launch in two or three different screen sizes.

“We also walked away with the view that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in at least two screen sizes this summer and possibly three. We continue to target July as the launch date. Essentially, we believe Apple is coming around to the fact that one size per iPhone release does not work for everyone and offering consumers an option has the potential to expand the Company’s market share.” White said.

Japanese website Macotakara has released a report suggesting that the iPhone 5S will come in five different colors, including the original black and white. Report also adds that the iPhone 5S will be announced in July, with a release to follow in August.
